This time I’m going to present you all a pleasant B&B place in the capital city of my beloved Cantabria,  Santander. The old Pension “La Corza” has been renovated and renewed for our guests with up to date facilities. This B&B place is situated right at the well-known “Plaza Pombo” square close to the city centre and the harbour.

I, Tibor, love the way they treat me here. The Plaza Pombo is great too for a stroll together with your humans and the smell of the sea…. I just can’t get enough of it!

My humans like the fact that breakfast is included and served in a nice comfortable dining room overlooking the Pombo square. The central location and the reasonable price of the room. We dogs are welcome on request and a supplement might be applied although they didn’t charge any extra for me. The landlord is extremely friendly and helpful too!

**Santander is a great city. Unfortunately not a very dog-friendly one. In general you aren’t allowed in bars or restaurants at all. My humans got take-away food from a Chinese Restaurant around the corner and so they had their meal with me in our room. During summertime you’re allowed at several terraces so it’s less complicated. The great walk along the beach does make a  bit up for the shortcoming of the city respecting their “dogs“ policy.

Hotel Ciudad de Logroño is a 3-star hotel situated in a quiet area of Logroño only a short walk away from the centre with most of Logroño’s interesting sights, you and your human friends definitely shouldn’t miss.

The best of this hotel: the accept us dogs. Free and without limits of size or weight with a max. of two dogs per room. If you’re a quiet dog, you’re even allowed to stay alone in the room as long as your humans leave a phone number at reception to be contacted just in case you miss them too much and can’t stop barking. We can also accompany our humans in the common areas except from the buffet area. I, Tibor, did so of course!

Very handy too, the small park just in front of the hotel. Provided with a special dog area to do your things, a playground for children, some green areas where we aren’t allowed and some space to enjoy a little walk with your humans.

My human lads especially liked the friendly and helpful staff and that everything went that easy with me. No complications at all, a garage underneath the hotel for a reasonable price (as we didn’t find a place near the hotel to park) and the fact that the hotel was quite close to sights such as the Cathedral, the Espolón square and the tapas & wine area where I was mainly accepted without any trouble.

** The hotel is situated close to the bus station, the Cathedral and the Espolón square. The wine & tapas area can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot. Logroño is generally a good city to visit with dogs. It’s hard to find a restaurant but in most of the bars (tapas) you’re more than welcome. There’s a great walking area along the river Ebro.

Real Valle Ezcaray is a new touristic apartment resort designed for lovers of nature and free time activities such as skiing in la Rioja, located in the heart of Ezcaray Valley, Zorraquin only a few minutes away from the village of Ezcaray.

The  resort consist of two modern buildings, both with fully equipped apartments, all nicely decorated. We were mainly surprised by the size of all rooms and the well-chosen decoration. I really liked the floor and the cosy carpet under the table. All apartments have their own terrace too. I, Tibor, stayed in apartment 409 with great views over the valley.

Unfortunately there aren’t many green areas around where to do your thing, as on most of them you won’t have access. Anyhow you don’t have to go very far either. My human friends loved the well-equipped kitchen, the size of the apartment and the private free parking space just behind the building. Also the friendly and helpful staff. There’s also a small playground for children.

** The hotel is located close to the principal village Ezcaray (approx. 3 km). Highlights in the area: the ski station of Ezcaray, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and numerous walks and hikes of great touristic and cultural interest. You can hire bikes or book a horse riding trip as well as other activities directly at Apartments Real Valley Ezcaray. They’re pleased to help you with any kind of touristy information.

Set in one of Bilbao’s quietest areas, you’ll find this pension. Great views over the Guggenheim Museum and within a 15 minutes’ walk you’ll find yourself in several interesting spots of the city.

All rooms, exteriors, are nicely decorated and functional. To me, Tibor, the nice and cool floor was what I mostly admired in our room as well as the fact that it was no problem at all that I accompanied my human friend. To her, the best was the helpful and friendly staff.  Our humans also are able to enjoy a free breakfast buffet in the morning. There’s a shared room equipped with fridge, water cooker and a microwave.

We dogs, but also cats, are allowed as long as we are well-educated as well as our humans. No extra fees will be charged.

** This pension is situated just in front of the Guggenheim Museum on the other side of the river. Besides it’s only a 10 minutes’ walk to numerous bars and restaurants. Public transport possibilities (also to the airport) close by.

Hey guys! My name is Nuka and last December my humans took me with them on their short vacation to Liébana where I lived for a couple a years together with my human friend.

We had a great time and this time we stayed in one of the apartments Brisas del Deva in Potes were I was more than welcome and the price was very reasonable too.

The apartment was nicely decorated, cosy, nice and warm so really you shouldn’t hesitate and tell your fellow lads about it so they can tell their humans! I’m sure you will have a great time, just like me!!!

Dogs are welcome under request. The might charge you, but there isn’t a fix price.

**There are lots of walks as your on foot of the Picos de Europa in one of Spain’s most beautiful villages. As long as you stay out of the National Park you are even aloud to walk of the leash as long as you respect herds and private areas. Like always, do behave!
